If these walls could talk, the stories they could tell! Georgetown has literally built itself around the Historic Square. When it was part of the Chisholm Trail, longhorn cattle were driven through these very streets. Today Georgetown is a vibrant and thriving city of 50,000+, and county seat to one of the fastest growing counties in the United States.

With so much growth, development, energy, momentum and change sweeping through the area, the Old Masonic Lodge building and the Historic Square are uniquely situated in the middle of it all, providing a unique, upscale and cultured alternative to the bustle and androgyny of area strip malls.

Here are some photographs of our building, taken shortly after renovation in 2003.

Balcony access is from the 2nd floor bar.

Balcony, as it wraps the north side of the building.

Main dining area, 1st floor, looking toward the main Main Street entrance.

Main dining area, nestled by the Main Street windows.

This is actually the 2nd onion dome to annoint the building. The first dome
disappeared from photographs in the 1920's, possibly toppled in a storm.

This is one of the greatest views of the Historic Square in Georgetown.

Balcony view, looking north. The canopy of red oaks gives the balcony an intimate, treehouse feeling.

View of the Main Street elevation. The canopy ceiling is made of beadboard.

Northern side of the building, looking west to the courthouse.

The main entrace to the Common Area lobby and the 3rd floor offices are
on the north side of the building.

Note the nicely appointed wainscott and marble flooring.

The 2nd floor mezzanine leads (left) to the bar and balcony and (right) to the elevator and banquet hall.

A central focal element of the first floor dining area is the built-in wine refrigerator.

This is my favorite view of the courthouse, as framed by
the "governor's window" above the balcony door (left).

This is the northern elevation of the building, looking south-west toward the courthouse.
Note the side entrance, the onion dome and the balcony.

Notice the architectural detailing of the "Governor's Window" and the
onion dome. This window belows to the 3rd floor offices.
